This year, the theme for International Yoga Day 2023 is ‘Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ effectively encapsulating our collective aspiration for ‘One Earth, One Family, and One Future.’ Today, people worldwide are observing the 9th International Yoga Day with live celebrations. Today on 26th January 2023 we, The Polestarians, are observing the 74th Republic Day in our school.

Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala was a noted Indian playwright, songwriter, poet, writer and film maker from Assam. He was considered as Assamese cultural icon, deeply revered for his creative vision and output and is popularly called the Rupkonwar of Assamese culture. He wrote many stories for children. He wrote more than 300 songs and gave music to most of them. He died on 17th January 1951. We are remembering him and paying homage to his contribution into the Art and Culture of Assamese Society and India at a large.
