Integrating sports in the curriculum fosters holistic development, promotes physical and psychological well-being and enhances cognitive abilities of the learners. Teachers’ Day (Shikshak Diwas) 2023 falls on September 5 and marks Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary. We all Polestarians observed this very significant and special day at Polestar Academy. Students of all the classes came out and displayed several talents they have. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti or Netaji Jayanti is a national event celebrated in India as Parakram Diwas on January 23 to mark the birth of prominent Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. This year nation celebrates 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. For the first time, Netaji Jayanti was celebrated as Parakram Divas in 2021 on the occasion of his 124th birthday. Shilpi Diwas

Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala was a noted Indian playwright, songwriter, poet, writer and film maker from Assam. He was considered as Assamese cultural icon, deeply revered for his creative vision and output and is popularly called the Rupkonwar of Assamese culture. He wrote many stories for children. He wrote more than 300 songs and gave music to most of them. He died on 17th January 1951. We are remembering him and paying homage to his contribution into the Art and Culture of Assamese Society and India at a large.
