Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope you are in good health and high spirits. I am pleased to inform you that our school recently conducted a POSCO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Awareness Campaign as part of our continuous commitment to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

The campaign aimed at educating students about personal safety, safe and unsafe touch, identifying potentially harmful situations, and understanding the importance of speaking up. Through interactive sessions, presentations, and guided discussions led by trained professionals, students were sensitized about their rights and the protective laws designed for their wellbeing.

Teachers were also oriented on the significant provisions of the POSCO Act and the protocols to be followed to ensure timely and appropriate action in case of any concern. These efforts reflect our unwavering dedication to child safety and to fostering a school culture rooted in trust, awareness, and empowerment.

We encourage parents to continue this dialogue at home and reinforce the importance of safety, communication, and confidence in seeking help whenever needed.
