Learning & Empowerment Programme for Students

Background

Since the world is experiencing the COVID 19 pandemic, our children also became confined inside house and their addiction to mobile phones rose high. Especially this pandemic have worsened the scenario. Many of the school children are getting mislead by several deadly video game and games like social casino game. Young children are developing gambling attitude which is threatening to our society and our child development process.

Addiction for video games are pushing them to theft or lend money to pursue the pleasure of playing online video game. Some even developing suicidal tendency. Online classes and study created the provision for the children to get unlimited access to electronic gadgets such as Smart phones, computers or tablets. National Institute of Mental Health and Nuro Science (NIMHANS) Bangalore has published a report in 2021 expressing their concern looking at the recent hike in Nuro psychiatric cases and young children are mostly affected.

Children have grown arrogant, short tempered and argumentive. Even getting into rude fight with close family members if they refuse to allow access to gadgets. During this classes children will spend time in doing some brain development creative work which will help their self-empowerment as well as channelize their potential towards doing some fun filled exciting group activities and reduce stress level gradually.

In collaboration with Pulse Seventeen, an organization who have launched a programme on Learning and Empowerment of Students in support to the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan or Self-reliant India campaign which is the vision of new India with the aim to make the country and its citizens independent and self-reliant in all senses, Polestar Academy aims to provide equal access to affordable vocational training, to eliminate gender and wealth disparities and achieve universal access to a quality higher education. The Sustainable Development Goals no 4 clearly recognize the challenges of quality and equity in education. As access to education is pivotal to improve quality of life and help to develop innovative solutions by applying the theory of Learn, reflect and empower. Sustainable Development Goal number 4 (SDG 4) aims at ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The word empowerment is letting the inherent power out.” It encourages people to gain the skills and knowledge that will allow them to overcome obstacles in life or work environment and ultimately, help them develop within themselves or in the society. Empowerment means people having power and control over their own lives. They are respected and confident in their communities. Youth empowerment is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. Our programme aims to contribute towards self-empowerment through individual action.

Learning Technology when used appropriately can be a tool for learning& Empowerment Programme for Students

Skill-based education places the ownership of learning in the hands of students and helps them restrict the big gap of understanding. It promotes and develops the art of learning and development hence empowering the students to become successful in their chosen field. Children have the energy to help the nation fight the problems that are hampering its progress and then steer India onto the path towards becoming self- reliant India by becoming self-reliant individuals. School children have the potential to change the face of the nation and help fight issues that the country is facing and put it on a progressive trajectory, to take it to a level when India can truly claim its position as Aatmanirbhar Bharat. School children may be young, with limited resources but put together they make a potent force of about 180 million individuals who can, overtime, gradually help India achieve self-reliance and become Atmanirbhar Bharat.

In this Learning and self-empowerment programme young children will learn about the electronics components by practically identifying and assembling them on their own for various electronics projects, the main moto is to teach the students about the electronics from daily life need based manner where they will learn with fun and excitement.

We are sure this will help them channelize their mind from fantasy world to real world by cultivating their creativity. Throughout this programme we will focus on their inherent potential and help them bring out and develop strengths which can definitely help them in future endeavor, be it higher studies, or managing any need based situation they face. Who knows he or she can be our future scientist. Learning about thoughtful use of technology can engage children in key skills such as play, self-expression, and computational thinking which will support later success across all academic disciplines and help maintain young children’s natural curiosity.

Execution-We are providing theory classes with relevant practical classes by external faculties who are experts or professionals in the field of Science & Technology through Online and offline classes. We divide the total class with small groups so that they can access and learn using each components. They will be given scope to build or design like various projects or games on their own. Our instructor will teach them to understand various functionality of various machines by audio video presentation. On completion of each level the student will get a certificate from our company.

Moto is to teach the students about the electronics and robotics in a different manner where they will learn with fun, which will help them to divert their mind from fantasy world to real world by cultivating their creativity. It also help the student to grow their interest on technical field.
